Speaker: Dan & Carol Seifer, Seawind USA / West Coast Multihulls

Speaker Bio: Dan and Carol started sailing mono hulls in the late 60’s. They mostly sailed on San Francisco Bay and along the California Coast. However there were many sailing vacations in the Caribbean Islands, B.C., Lake Tahoe, Florida and the New England coast. In January of 2000 Dan and Carol purchased their first catamaran and spent most of the year in the Pacific Northwest before sailing her home to San Francisco Bay. In 2007, they decided to move up to a world class ocean going catamaran. In addition to this journey from Australia to San Francisco, Dan and Carol have crossed the Atlantic ocean on an ARC rally. Dan has a Masters Coast Guard license and is an ASA instructor.
