Speaker Bio: Captain Thomas Perry holds a U.S. Coast Guard 50 Ton Master’s License. He is a certified US SAILING Coastal Passage Making instructor and is a Club Nautique senior instructor. Captain Perry has taught for Club Nautique since 2006 and has logged nearly 100 days on Club Nautique Coastal Passage Making classes. Club Nautique is the largest certifier of Coastal Passage Making students in the nation, certifying more students than all other US SAILING schools combined.
   
Details: Sailing offshore is fun and exciting, but you need to be prepared. Captain Perry will discuss training, boat preparations, and equipment that are commonly accepted for making a safe voyage. This seminar also gives you essential background regarding weather planning, navigation, organizing the crew and dealing with seasickness.
